Palazzo Lucarini

The Centre of Contemporary Art “Palazzo Lucarini” is a space of creative activities for production and presentation, reflection and communication of the contemporary artistic phenomena.

The Municipality of Trevi grants the spaces of the palace of the same name to the non-profit Cultural Association Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary which, founded in January 2007 following the dissolution of the Cultural Association Trevi Flash Art Museum, plays an observatory and contemporary promotion role.

The museum produces 4 unpublished annual exhibitions exploring different points of view on reality and artistic research.

At the same time, in the museum we develop a consciusness on the theme of the historical, cultural and the environmental roots of the context that hosts it with series of collateral activities (presentations, meetings, workshops, readings, conferences, educational activities).

In its cultural policy, Palazzo Lucarini combines an international vocation with attention to the territory. Its distinctive features are therefore: 1) attention to the young national and international artistic generations; 2) the didactic and social function of its events; 3) orientation towards research and experimentation, not only in the exclusive field of visual arts.

Palazzo Lucarini has thus become famous nationally and internationally for contemporary art exhibitions, biennials and festivals dedicated to the culture of contemporary design, but above all, thanks to the help of highly specialized staff, for the careful language education action artistic and expressive of the contemporary for an audience of children, teens, but also for creative young people, adults and experts in artistic education.
